  1. Maple-Flavored Syrup

  3. Makes 1 cup (16 one-tablespoon 
  4. servings).
  5. 72% calorie reduction from 
  6. traditional recipe
  7.  
  8. 1 cup apple juice
  9. 2 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
  10. 1 tablespoon margarine
  11. 1 3/4 teaspoons Equal┬« MeasureΓäó or 
  12.    6 packets Equal┬« sweetener or
  13.    1/4 cup Equal┬« SpoonfulΓäó
  14. 1 teaspoon maple flavoring
  15. 1 teaspoon vanilla

  17. ΓÇó In a small saucepan combine apple 
  18. juice and cornstarch. Cook and stir 
  19. until thickened and bubbly. Cook and 
  20. stir for 2 minutes more. Remove from 
  21. heat. Stir in margarine, Equal┬«, maple 
  22. flavoring and vanilla. Serve over 
  23. pancakes, waffles or French toast.
